Software and Drivers
ShipDriver does not require additional software or drivers.
ShipDriver requires no software. ShipDriver installs as a USB Game Controller and USB Keyboard. For Software Developers P.I. Engineering offers a free Software Development Kit: (http://www.piengineering.com/developer/splatsdk.php)
ShipDriver in Windows
ShipDriver is a USB game controller and will appear in Windows XP Control Panel under Game Controllers or Windows 7 under Devices and Printers.
In Windows 7 Right-click on the ShipDriver Icon and select Game Controller Settings. In Windows XP double-click on the Game Controller Icon.
Testing and Calibration
By selecting Properties you can test the controls on the Ship Driver.
Selecting the Settings tab will reveal the calibration button and allow you to begin calibration. When calibrating the steering control (Slider) always use the tiller control with the ShipDriver in Tiller Mode.
Since the top row of blue buttons is configured as keyboard keys and the Tiller and Wheel Mode switches, they will not appear in the Game Controller properties.
